Human Resources-Change Enablement

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of human resources administration and activities associated with employee information, retrieval capabilities and support. Processes HR data according to ‘the company’ policy and legal requirements, consults on HR processes and implementation, and is responsible for end-to-end HR customer support throughout the employee life cycle. Identifies emerging applications and recommends process improvements and simplification that support business and HR strategy. Works across the business, functional, and regional areas of ‘the company’ to recommend IT investments and improvements to HR tools. Implements and tracks programs and processes to ensure that records are accurate, accessible, and appropriately secure, and that data retrieval and reporting capabilities meet the needs of internal customers, legal compliance, and the company policy requirements (e.g., data management and integration of data). Re-engineers processes at regional and country level and works in partnership with global teams to build more process strength and capability. Provides support for recruiting in administration, internal hiring and lower-level external hiring. Ensures seamless support through Contact HR for both front- and back-end processes. Defines the strategy for HR Operations support of Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures and Outsourcing (MADO). Leads, coordinates and provides HR Operations support for all MADO employee transitions.

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

How you will make your mark:

  • Takes a lead role in HR strategic Change Management initiatives.
  • A change management consultant will play a key role in ensuring projects or change initiatives meet objectives on time by increasing employee adoption and usage.
  • Focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, and services.  
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders Support training efforts
  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs
  • The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
  • The change consultant will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees.
  • The improvements should increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of desired results and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary teams, building trust and confidence, to implement solutions
  • Drive collaboration among teams, act as a coach for project/program managers and other leaders in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor.
  • The consultant may also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of Program/project/people leaders in driving positive change management and integrating change management activities into their project plans.
  • Apply a structured methodology, process and tools to create a strategy that supports adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of the processes and standards to support the work of the team and contribute to business planning activities, performance improvement and/or efficiency

About you:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 2-5 years related experience in compensation, benefits, finance, and/or human resources.
  • 3-4 years of Change Management experience desired
  • Experience in cross-functional areas, such as compensation, benefits, staffing, recruiting, or HRIT desired
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Advanced communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and consulting
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Flexible and adaptable able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Forward looking with a holistic approach
  • Mastery on English
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Basic knowledge of HR systems, and overall HR function.
  • Change management certification desired
