IRC223248 – JV ACCOUNTANT
As a member ofthe finance department at Eni Mexico you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for being Eni’s contact for operated joint interest billing queries, as well as written and oral communication with joint venture partners
- Interacting with Project Managers and Technical Operations, for status updates on JV projects and ensure financial performance reports correctly reflect activities
- Coordinating and prepare Annual Work Program and Budget (WP&B) for the JV in line with JOA
- Providing supporting financial analysis/documents for WP&B and performance submissions.
- Tracking and reporting of updates on statutory and tax requirements for JVs
- Implementation of internal and external auditors’ recommendations on JV administration and reporting.
- Coordinating, preparing, and submitting monthly cash calls to the JV partner, and attend cash call meetings as scheduled.
- Assisting the Accounting Manager on other special assignments as may be required from time to time.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of outbound joint venture billings and receivables through the trial balance, analysis, and partner reconciliations.
- Clarifying, investigating, resolving, and respond to queries and disputes from partners and other departments in a timely manner.
- Performing applicable production accounting duties, accruals, variance analysis, and process amendments
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with JV partners and other departments to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives
- Liaising with procurement, drilling, exploration & all the departments involved in the joint venture operability
- Ensuring that Eni México is compliant with all signed operating type agreements
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
- accounting experience. It is a plus if has experience in Oil & Gas / Joint Venture Operated Accounting
- Strong knowledge of the Mexican Tax Regulations (SHCP, SAT, FMP, CNH, among others)
- Strong knowledge of the Mexican GAAP and IFRS rules
- Intermediate ability in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
- Experience with EPR (SAP is a must)
- Degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance or equivalent
