This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Description:

   

Job Family Definition:

Designs, constructs and tests prototype equipment for electrical systems and components, consistent with engineering and other specifications. Evaluates and modifies experimental equipment, concepts and systems. Creates basic designs via computer aided design software. Reads/interprets schematics, printouts and specifications as needed to complete tests to determine the functionality of electrical circuitry and/or computer programs. Participates with engineers in the debugging and troubleshooting of new and existing products.

Management Level Definition:

Applies developed knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete a wide variety of difficult assignments/tasks. Thorough understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature and require ordinary problem resolution. Works under limited supervision and normally receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions given for new assignments.

Education and Experience Required:

• Typically an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and 4-6 years of experience.
• May include highly experienced individuals performing equivalent work who are non- degreed or degreed in an unrelated field.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Working knowledge in the field of electronics technology.
• Be responsible to install complex server hardware and components, system troubleshooting, collaborating with hardware/software engineers and providing technical support for user hardware questions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in server hardware troubleshooting /assembly field
• Familiarity with PC/Server hardware devices
• Strong problem-solving/multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong analytical skills

CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 4:00 PM-12:00 AM shift

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $41,500.00 - $88,500.00
