Play your part in our team succeeding

Ensures the processes are followed and continuously improved to supply moulded elements, assembled elements, packing materials to the production lines according to the plans.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct responsible for Intra Logistics Strategic projects improvements and innovation.
  • Drive digitalization and productivity through local projects
  • Ensure correct deployment of global projects and/or new technologies.
  • Manage logistic and expansion projects by involving relevant participants and providing functional expertise regarding logistic operations, systems and processes.
  • Primary point of contact with global departments, material logistic specialist and IT specialist.
  • LEGO Continuous Improvement tools and processes management and improvement.
  • Identify and drive efficiency and productivity projects.
  • BI superuser by creating reports and Apps to enable efficiency within the daily logistic operation.
  • Warehouse Management System expert ensuring optimal operational functionality.
  • Warehouse Management System material flow logic maintenance and improvement: AGVs, Stoecklin, ACE, Shuttles.
  • Responsible for Warehouse Management System processes documentation and update.
  • Solve critical systems communication problems.
  • Create, update and manage contingency plans in case of autonomous equipment failures.
  • Develop autonomous equipment AMEF
  • Support Logistic Operations with performance and visual management improvements.
  • Support and drive Logistics correct implementation and sustainability of Logistics strategic initiatives.
  • Be a safety role model in Logistics and Packing.
  • Be 5´s role model in Logistics and Packing.
  • Ensure right accomplishment of OHSA'S 18001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001
  • Leads benchmark best practice in operation process activities across site & global (people management, D&I, operation shopfloor management, productivity)
  • Collaborate with other departments such are: Training, HBW, Prepack, Final Pack, Processing, Planning, Procurement, Imports-Exports and external suppliers.
  • Continuously strive to improve processes to reduce costs in the Logistics Operations.
  • Proactive approach and responsibility in terms of solving critical problems related to Logistics Operations.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Up to 5 years of experience in Warehouse management within a Manufacturing factory, Experience in Warehouse Processes, Logistics processes, Experience with different type of forklifts.
  • Availability to learn new processes and improve them in future.
  • English fluent level.
  • High level of Leadership, analytical skills, decision making, teamwork, collaborator, proactive, dynamic, open-minded, high flexibility, personal administration.
  • Broad Knowledge in fork lifters types, material flows, handheld scanners tools, packing materials, battery rooms.
  • Availability to travel locally or overseas
  • Lean manufacturing Tools (5´s, JIT, TPM, Kanban, Gemba)
  • MS Office, SAP Galaxy knowledge, Warehouse management system.
  • Experience working in Warehouses and Material supply to production lines.
  • Experience using AGV´s (Automatic Guided Vehicles)
  • FSC knowledge
  • CTPAT and/or OEA knowledge

Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position
