Marketing Product Manager – Mobile Wallet

The role

This is a high visibility, high impact role that’s primary objective is to bring customer input, partnerships, and business opportunities to feed definition of IPFD’s portfolio and execute global strategy with effective implementation product and CEX solutions on the Mexican market. You will be responsible for maximization of usage and engagement of our customers in the Creditea Mobile Wallet (mobile self-service app) and looking for monetization opportunities of the service.

The Responsibilities

1. Product definition and growth

  • Through market analysis, research and monitoring bringing the knowledge and insights to the company about mobile lending and CEX solutions existing on MX market that allow to shape IPFD’s roadmap.
  • Bringing the knowledge and insights to the company about consumer needs and requirements related to lending/banking mobile solution that will maximize customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Co-creation and development of a Product and Innovation Strategy, operational policy, and framework for MX market.
  • Creation of value-added services agenda, actively driving partnerships, define business requirements and business case for those services.
  • Co-definition with design and UX team customer journeys relevant for the MX customers and MX mobile wallet.
  • Taking direct ownership and leadership of key strategic product and innovation developments as required.
  • Owning product business cases.
  • Creating go-to-market plans and launching products and particular functionalities on MX market (commercialization).
  • Identifying appropriate opportunities to maximize sales – this will include external innovations and ideas.
  • Providing the scope and priorities to development process closely cooperating with development teams (product “factory”).
  • Sharing best practice and ideas across IPFD.
  • Responsibility for the commercial success of introduced products.

 

2. External Focus & Insight

  • Well-connected externally, you will constantly be looking for new innovations and opportunities for IPF Digital to deliver upon its organizational Purpose.
  • Build long lasting relationships externally and internally, role model for others across the organization on how to do this.
  • Stay up to date with external developments and trends and act as an advisor to IPFD leadership teams to share insight and knowledge to shape strategy.
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Build key external partnerships and networks, seeking to maximize opportunities for strategic partnerships.
  • Provide customer insight, awareness, and information to IPFD leadership team to help to shape developments and strategic thinking.
  • Understand the global marketplace and bring this knowledge and insights to IPFD.

Skills

  • Fluent in verbal and written business English (essential).
  • Business models acumen in Value Added Services.
  • Expert in product development.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Assertive and able to influence senior leaders and gain buy-in through co-creation for IPFD projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels an across all functions and territories.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver impactful presentations and deal with external partners.
  • Cultural awareness and empathy.
  • Commercial and Strategic awareness.

  • Business Development.

  • Worked within digital or fintech (Desirable).
  • Experience in driving sales, personally and working as part of a start-up (Desirable).
  • Credit Cards (Desirable).
  • Worked within business development environment – partners management.
  • Project Management – Agile understanding and experience.
