Job Description
Managing a wide range of artists amongst different genres, this role is tasked with creating, delivering and coordinating marketing and promotional campaigns for domestic and international releases.
Working autonomously and as part of the Artist Services team, the Project Manager is responsible for handling the relationship with the artists and coordinating releases and driving campaigns through to completion.
Responsibilities include :
Define project overall scope, goals, timeline, expected key results and KPIs
Perform an overall audit of the artist
Build a strong relationship with the artists, and ensure customer satisfaction resulting in renewal of contracts
Validate all release assets that have been produced, with the Producer
Own release management (audio + video, including ingestion)
Ensure cross-functional collaboration with the Editorial and Marketing Partnership team (EMP), Digital Marketing team (DM) and Release & Support team (R&S) to optimize flawless execution (as well as other project stakeholders)
Drive all project related problems and questions (invoicing, marketing promotion, release strategy etc.)
Manage marketing budget and P&L for each project
Manage option exercise (as part of the contract)
Develop and maintain year on year customer gross margin
Qualifications
Passion and experience for music
Minimum of 3 years appropriate experience
Ability to confidently plan, manage and deliver campaigns to a high standard
Experience of liaising with artists, managers and other third party stakeholders
Motivated to work with a fast moving and rapidly developing roster
Capable of juggling various projects at the same time
Good understanding of data analysis and consumer insights
Creative mindset and hunger for digital activations
Knowledgeable about market trends, music industry developments and digital innovations
Highly motivated and organised with excellent time management skills
A team player with creative ideas and a positive attitude
Open to using innovative marketing tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
