The role
Working as part of the Partnerships team, the marketing specialist's primary role is to create compelling and persuasive written content that effectively communicates a brand's message, values, and offerings, copywriting is a crucial element for this role, crafting text for various promotional materials, such as advertisements, websites, emails, social media posts, and more. The specialist will also ensure cultural appropriateness for the Mexican Spanish-speaking audience and provide guidance on content adjustments.
Moreover, the marketing specialist implements strategies to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, assists in event organization, manages content calendars, fosters collaboration across teams, and promotes continuous learning and improvement in marketing and localization practices.
The responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of innovative marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and boost product sales.
- Copy Review with Cultural Sensitivity: Ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness in marketing materials, collaborate on content localization, and maintain consistency in language, tone, and style to enhance marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Sales Materials: Develop effective sales materials, including promotional ads, presentations, proposals, and informative documents.
- Event Organization: Assist in planning and executing both virtual and in-person events, ensuring smooth logistics and optimal attendee experience.
- Content Management: Manage content materials and calendars, track and report on performance metrics, and offer insights for optimization.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and coordinate the marketing materials approval process.
So, what skills, knowledge, and experience do you have?
- Marketing principles: understanding the fundamental concepts of marketing such as market segmentation, targeting, positioning, branding, and the marketing mix.
- Digital Marketing: Familiarity with digital marketing channels and strategies such as social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and analytics tools.
- Trend Awareness: Keeping abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in consumer behavior to adapt marketing strategies accordingly and stay competitive in the market.
- Project management: Ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, set timelines, allocate resources, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Content Creation: Skills in content creation across various formats such as blog posts, social media posts, videos, infographics, and email newsletters. This includes knowledge of storytelling, copywriting, and graphic design principles.
- Marketing Technology: Familiarity with marketing automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, email marketing platforms, and other marketing technology solutions to streamline processes and optimize marketing efforts.
- At least 1 year of experience in Marketing.
- Preferably marketing experience gained in e-commerce sector, financial sector, or B2B sales related company.
- Fluent in verbal and written business English.
- Marketing-related university education.
- Creativity in developing marketing strategies, campaigns and content.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and build strong campaigns.
- Adaptability and resilience to navigate and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Eagerness to learn and enthusiasm to embrace new opportunities for acquiring knowledge and skills.
