The Media Strategy Sr Specialist at Nissan Mexicana will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic media plans that effectively reach the target audience and achieve marketing goals.

This role will require strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of media planning and buying. The ideal candidate will have experience in both traditional and digital media and be able to leverage data and insights to optimize media campaigns effectively.

As a Media Strategy Sr Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including CMM, creative, and media agencies, to define media objectives, develop media strategies, and execute media plans.

You will also monitor and analyze media performance, identify trends and opportunities, and recommend optimizations. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic media plans that align with marketing objectives and target audience.

Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to define media objectives and develop media strategies.

Control media plans across traditional and digital channels.

Monitor and analyze media performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.

Generate insights from data analysis and make recommendations for media optimization.

Stay current on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in media planning.

Support relationships with media vendors and negotiate media placements and rates.

Collaborate with creative teams to ensure media plans are aligned with creative direction.

Track media budgets and ensure spending is in line with allocated budgets.

Present media strategies, plans, and performance analysis to internal stakeholders and clients.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.

1+ years of experience in media planning and buying, preferably in the automotive industry.

Desirable understanding of media planning principles and best practices.

Desirable proficiency in media planning and buying tools and platforms.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to effectively analyze data and generate insights.

Strong knowledge of traditional and digital media channel.

Familiarity with media research and measurement tool.

Marketing Intelligence Tools.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Collaborating with external agencies to create successful campaigns.
