This person will be a member of a dynamic team who provides unparalleled experiences to our guests. This position hosts our top clients from group and leisure segments visiting FSTMR, while drives strong prospecting efforts and pursues group conversation from all regions. The on-property Sales Manager will actively plan and conduct site inspections and host FAM Trips with crafted itineraries to ensure our clients understand the essence of Tamarindo.
The storytelling is a key factor for this purpose and the Sales Manager will leverage our unique selling proposition at every interaction. On-property reactive Sales Manager role that will focus on hosting site inspections and FAM Trips from groups and leisure. On-property Sales Manager will support all satellite Sales Managers by meeting and entertaining top clients, while prospecting new business and pursuing group conversion.
The Sales Manager will work closely with satellite Sales Managers and will plan all on-property sales activities based on office calendar to secure coverage and coordinate appropriate actions for all clients visiting Tamarindo. This position reports to the Director of Sales. Desired Skills and Experience / Key Elements of the Role: Strong sales and entertaining skills.
Actively solicit new leisure business from travel advisors on site experiences and address inquiries to satellite Sales Managers. Ability to network and pursue group conversion as well as solicit new group business for future programs FSTMR could bid on, and address to satellite Group Sales Manager. Ability to track all on-property sales activities into GOLDEN S&M on behalf of satellite Sales Managers, with high level notes of their interaction with clients while on property and sharing prospecting results.
Curator in partnership with Conference Services Managers of FAM Trip itineraries focused on Tamarindo Experiences. Conduct virtual site inspection as required using creative and attractive presentations. Coordinate with the Sales Department and Catering to ensure proper utilization of guest rooms and function space to yield maximum revenues.
Conduct property site tours and entertain planners and clients. Overlook tops clients throughout their stays and be on top of their needs from arrival to departure, including Glitch fixing. Plan and/or attend and/or participate in meetings with hotel staff and clients.
