Responsibilities

The Opportunity:

The Global Procurement Coordinator will lead MRO Logistic Materials & Pallets Latam agenda to design , execute and implement the  sourcing strategies.

This role will have the opportunity to actively lead the development and execution of tactics to drive quality, cost and service improvements. Will also be key agent to identify synergies and best practices to harmonize and leverage along LATAM to deliver GP targets as productivity, cash flow and sustainability.

Your Impact:

As Procurement Indirect Sr Coordinator your responsibilities would consist of

  • Leads category strategy over a multi-year horizon, delivery of AOP targets, price variance tracking, supplier

interaction and negotiation

  • Leads sourcing program:
    • Spend mapping for the Category
    • Understand key cost drivers, industry trends and best practices (today and in the future) to shape the sourcing strategies
    • Build strategy for category and lead main regional initiatives
    • Align Procurement Category Productivity Plan with Sakeholders and Market Indirect Leads
    • Lead and execute Sourcing tenders (RFI, RFP’s, e-auctions) under Ariba - 7 Steps Methodology
    • Build partnership relations with functions and ensure procurement is involved at earliest stage of procurement process
    • Ensure appropriate reporting and the impact of procurement initiatives in Latam P&L
  • Coordinate Category Strategy implementation to ensure resurcing on every market
  • Support the Latam transformation of indirects procurement by adoption and leverage of digitalization agenda (SpendHQ, Cirtuo, etc).
  • Sustainably deliver +6%-7% productivity
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Engineering, Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering.

Experience

  • +3 years experience in procurement 
  • Sound knowledge of strategic sourcing processes and procurement best practices, with experience of implementing them in a global environment
  • Ability to build relationships and influence across a matrix organization
  • Strong grasp of general business economics & key cost & quality drivers
  • Strong analytical & financial skills.
  • Experience with Ariba (RFPs, RFIs, e-auctions) and SAP is a plus
  • Metodology 7 steps 
  • Microsoft advanced 
  • Political & commercial savvy
  • Ability to translate complex situations into simple messages for Excecutive level communication
  • Ability to work in X-functional team and influence them without direct reporting lines
  • Results and action orientated – comfortable setting and delivering against bold, stretch targets
  • Excellent language skills – Spanish and English essential, both verbal and in writing. Portuguese desirable.
  • Broad Understanding: understands the business cultures around CASA & BRAZIL sectors and the sensitivities that go along with it.
  • Excellent Functional knowledge (+3 years in category management /procurement roles): depth in facilities/service category management processes and tools and other related categories in complex environment is desired, preferably within Food & Beverage industry.
