Responsabilities:
• Developing-level technician who works under technical guidance and/or supervision, and performs technical tasks used to support product engineering efforts.
• May be employed in a prototype, test or quality environment.
• Provides technical assistance in the areas of design, layout and detail drawing, procurement of materials, construction of prototypes and testing equipment of prototype products.
• Maintains testing equipment and work area in accordance with 5S principles and quality standards.
• Understands product development procedures and engineering services techniques. Proficient usage of equipment and machinery required to perform job.
• Normally receives little or no instruction on routine activities.
• May receive detailed instruction on new assignments.
Profile:
• Computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.);
• Problem solving skills;
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills;
• Experience with reading blueprints;
• Experience in machining components;
• Basic math and reading skills;
• Ability to use standard shop measurement tools;
• Familiarity with engineering assembly and component drawings
