We are building a Capability Center where manual processes “go to die” through a continuous drive to eliminate, streamline and automate manual processes. You are the Front Line Leader we are looking for to lead that effort. We are looking for creative problem solvers focused on creating great employees’ experiences while proactively mitigating risk by finding innovative, automated solutions to eliminate, streamline, improve and standardize these complex sets of processes and systems. You will work to ensure the highest level of quality of our operations by setting the vision and partnering with key stakeholders in Engineering, Product, Finance, and Legal as well as collaborating operations/processing Team and banking institutions. We design processes that work internationally while accommodating local needs and we provide rapid tactical and strategic responses to challenges, ensuring the positive impact is lasting. We take on new leadership opportunities every day and have the autonomy to identify and execute projects that will benefit the company for years to come. As a member of this team, you will :

  • Own global processes from a designing to driving implementation and monitoring results to making adjustments as conditions change
  • Manage a team of individuals that find innovative ways to process and manage our complex set of transactions. You thrive on making processes more efficient and scalable, you work to ensure the highest level of quality of our operations and you proactively minimize operational risk

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years experience with accounting/finance, SAP, business processes, as well as the system controls related to the processes
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Record to record, general ledger, financial consolidation & closing, management consulting, process improvement
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience managing a team with global responsibility in a fast paced environment
  • Experience in working with stakeholders/clients in a multinational environment (US, Europe)
  • Strong problem solving ability combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate clearly and influence leadership teams in both product areas and finance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree
  • Success leading complex, global operations and system implementations in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex escalations in a timely and efficient manner, effectively balancing business and technical risks
  • Attention to detail, organized, and thorough with a desire for continuous improvements
  • Work experience with an outsourced service provider in operations, Record to Report, accounting or other relevant area.
  • 5+ years experience with accounting/finance ERP systems and business processes, as well as the system controls related to the processes
  • Experience managing large cross functional projects including identifying, assessing and controlling risks on the Record to Report, general ledger and financial consolidation & closing

Functions:

  • Own the drive to continuously improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts through eliminating steps and streamlining processes while maintaining high control and quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • As a Senior-Level Record to Report Processor, you will be responsible for managing financial consolidation and close operations. Your day-to-day activities include ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, performing reconciliations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements. You must have a mastery of Financial Consolidation & Close Operations.
  • Manage a team of individuals across the three above mentioned areas with the focus being to reduce impact on operational teams
  • Partner with other teams, business groups, and engineering teams to drive operational scale through process transformation and risk reduction
  • Help create end-to-end business and system requirements, set priorities, determine constraints and dependencies, define timelines, allocate resources, write detailed functional and test specifications, evaluate design alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance and operations, and drive projects to completion
