We seek a Sales Manager to oversee a team of Team Leads to join our dynamic sales team. As a Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our frontline leaders in supporting BDRs whose function is to source new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage BDR and team lead performance, productivity, and attendance
- Report on the performance of the BDR org on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to upper management
- Manage and monitor the development of the operation, communication within the department, and the progress and accomplishment of established goals
- Participate in developing organizational goals for the BDR department and monitor their progress
- Hold weekly one-on-one meetings with each team lead to review results, agent performance, and any outstanding topics
- Collaborate with HR on any procedures related to orientation, warnings, administrative records, job descriptions, contract renewals, new hire performance, etc., and communicate necessary information to team leads
- Assist in situations involving assistance with quality assurance, systems, and tools
- Collaborate with other members of the executive team as needed by the department
- Foster a supportive environment encouraging personal accountability and commitment to SpotOn's goals and values
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience managing and leading a team of managers (team leads)
- Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Proven sales experience within SaaS, merchant services, hospitality, restaurants, food & beverage or related fields
- Track record of exceeding sales targets individually and as a team leader
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience selling a diverse ecosystem of products and services and closing large and small accounts alike
- Strong experience in lead generation & business development
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player mentality with a passion for leadership and the development of yourself and others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
