We're currently looking to hire a Sales Coordinator for our business. This role is primarily an operations role and is focused on order entry, order tracking, vendor interactions, and ensuring customer needs are met.
Position: Sales Operations Coordinator LATAM
Work Hours: M-F, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, EST.
Holidays: US holidays.
Pay Range: $1,600 USD monthly.
Type of contract: Independent contractor
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team by managing incoming inquiries, and creating sales documents, and proposals.
- Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the sales team in the preparation of regular sales reporting.
- Generate and place purchase orders with vendors.
- Monitor PO status with several key vendors and report status to customers.
- Maintain order status reports and provide regular updates both internally and externally.
- Serve as the key point of contact for customers on sales-related inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Enter and update customer information in the company CRM to maintain accurate records.
- Assist in the maintenance and expansion of the company's customer base.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with the management team.
- Ensure the availability of promotional materials and samples for such events.
- Work closely with the manufacturing, accounting, and logistics teams to streamline the sales process.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in sales support or sales coordination, preferably within the textile or relevant industries.
- Familiarity with the textile, construction, or government sectors is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
