Principal, Business Consulting - SAP PP , Mexico Infosys Consulting’s ERP & Platforms Practice is seeking a SAP PP Consultant at a Principal Level to join its growing practice in Mexico. About the Role
As a Principal , you will contribute to different phases of an engagement including client identification, launch, delivery and closure; help establish client relationships, lead and contribute in conceptualizing innovative solutions based on anticipated needs of the industry; participate in and contribute to various team-level, practice-level and organizational-level initiatives; proactively look for client issues and develop new ideas and present to clients after leadership approval to generate or influence new sales; contribute and at times lead and act as SMEs in sale pursuits with the objective of ensuring the highest level of engagement management within the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys Consulting.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the manufacturing functional group for a site, understands the integration points with other functional groups.
• Participate in knowledge transition from the plant implementation team to understand plant-specific requirements and solution, and plant personnel roles and training needs.
• Lead the overall skills assessment related to manufacturing, training document review, and supplementary job aid creation that may be needed for a site.
• Assists in facilitation of UAT testing at site.
• Work with detailed scheduling for day 1 operations.
• Assist on-site during physical inventory & cutover activities to ensure data is accurate.
• Onsite for centrally located team responsible for user support post go-live, as well as defect reporting and working with the build team on defect resolution.
• Onsite shift coverage as necessary to ensure no gaps in coverage during operations.
• Provide on-call support as needed.

• 1:1 & group support during stabilization.
• Provide on-call support as needed.

Project Execution

• Conduct engagement launch activities when leading the team.
• Participate and contribute towards project launch activities when working as individual contributor as part of a large team.
• Understand client context, assess team structure, and roles and responsibilities of team members to prepare for project execution.
• Contribute to the design and development of client future processes and organizations with corresponding transformation roadmaps .
• Conduct requirements workshops with a team of global IT professional & subject matter experts, translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives w/associated metrics .
• Solution targeted processes, leveraging best practices .
• Configure/design SAP functionality and processes .
• Solution and document functional specifications .
• Define, execute, and support testing of the solution.
• Perform knowledge transfer to client and supporting organizations throughout all phases of the project.
• Support management of project execution from start-to-finish to deliver according to plan (scope, quality, and time).
• Coach and develop team members to deliver quality results and promote professional development .

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years of SAP Experience.
• English level 80-90%.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service with ability to manage customer expectation.
• Excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
• Ability to easily adapt to different communication and working styles.
• Active listener.
• Excellent organizational skills.

• At least 2 full lifecycle implementations (all phases) of a package implementation lifecycle .
• Experience with Package Implementation Methodology and key deliverables .
• Is willing to travel 4 days a week to different locations within the United States, México, and LATAM.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 7+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PPPI) modules.
• At least 7+ years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.
• A proven track record of leading and managing small, global, and local teams.
• Team Lead and key contributor in Process Streams / Functional Areas.
• Experience interacting with client executives; ability to influence at the leadership level.
• Must have good knowledge in following PPPI areas: Master Data, MRP, Process order Execution, PI Sheet, Production campaign, Variant configuration.
• Good Knowledge in integration aspects with other modules MM, EWM, WM, CO and SDSAP product certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of S/4 HANA simplifications in logistics area will be an added advantage.
• SAP Experience in Consumer Goods and Manufacturing industries.
• Should have working experience in a highly regulated environment.
