ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Senior Brand Manager for Divestment Brands in the UK and Ireland, you will play a pivotal role in leading all aspects of the transition and/or alliance of divested brands within the UK and ROI. Collaborating closely with key partners across various functions, you will ensure a seamless and efficient process, safeguarding the continuity and success of divested brands in the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for the successful transition of divested brands, aligning with overall business objectives and market dynamics.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the International Business Unit and local cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Supply, Product Quality, Regulatory, and Finance to ensure smooth integration and ongoing management of divested brands.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including divestment partners, to facilitate effective collaboration and alignment.

  • Financial Management: Run budgets and resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation to support the success of divested brands.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all activities related to divested brands.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the transition and ongoing management of divested brands, proactively addressing any challenges that may arise.

  • Drive initiatives to enhance processes and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of divestment brand management.

  • Carry out local assessment of future divestments and sharing key learnings with divestment leadership to improve transitions.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Shown experience in brand management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated project management expertise, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Experience working in a cross-functional and matrixed organization.

  • Knowledge of the UK and Ireland market landscape is preferred.

  • Ability to work under full confidentiality.

LOCATION:

  • This position is based in the UK in Basingstoke / hybrid working pattern.
