The Sr. Manager of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Laser Guided Vehicles (LGV) will be responsible for the overall process mapping, design, development, implementation, and optimization of all the Manufacturing Systems applications pertaining to the warehouse manufacturing areas of our Mexico breweries with connections to our distribution networks. The Sr. Manager of WMS & LGV will be responsible for the entire project life cycle from conception through commissioning. The Sr. Manager will also be the technology owner for WMS and LGV applications which would include developing, testing, approving, deploying, and migrating to production any project changes and periodic updates. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for planning and execution of all projects to achieve and maintain solutions that provide value add solutions for the manufacturing, manufacturing services, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams. The Sr. Manager must be a forward thinker who plans for potential future operational and application life cycle changes. The key areas of focus for this Sr. Manager will be warehouse management systems for brewing process areas, inbound raw materials, and finished good areas. The systems will have detailed integrations with ERP Systems, Inspection Systems, Process Systems, Yard Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, and mobile paperless workflow applications. The Sr. Manager must have extensive knowledge of operational systems, a strong sense of technology & automation, and leverage those skills to achieve seamless integrations with the brewery’s overall supply chain system.
1 Responsible for the management and prioritization of all Beer Division WMS and LGV Manufacturing Systems projects and initiatives, from R&D to implementation to Application Life Cycle Management
2 Responsible for the timely development and maintenance of all information relating to WMS and LGV Management Systems projects including, project definition, development, project planning, implementation & operating standards, specifications, and procedures.
3 Identify WMS application initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the business.
4 Review and understand new WMS application innovations and processes. 5 Creating and maintaining a clear master data management strategy
6 Review Warehouse Management System performance and KPIs.
7 Responsible for integration of application modifications related to brownfield and greenfield brewery expansions.
8 Identify opportunities for increased efficiency, reduced maintenance resources, and higher systems reliability.
9 Responsible for defining new systems administration functions including user provisioning, patching policy, and other governance policies to be applied to quality applications.
10 Focus on customer service and delivering against company’s needs to maintain operational excellence.
