The solutions architect is the trusted Sales Engineering partner to Business Development and account managers, weaving solution storytelling and technology approaches into winning proposals for existing and future customers. The solutions architect must have significant expertise in both commercial strategy and process, workflow, and technology in the language services space, supported by experience crafting and showcasing unique narratives through written or presentation form. The SA is responsible for the management, development, and implementation of the solutions offered in partnership with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Product.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Win.
- Support the Commercial organization with inbounding client prospects to understand customers’ vision and design ideal program solutions.
- Manage the bid process, from curation through delivery, ensuring and gaining input and buy-in from relevant stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, Commercial, Tech, etc.
- Instill masterful commercial storytelling throughout communications with customers, to focus on quality and partnership at all stages of the solutioning process.
- Attend early sales and project planning meetings with client representatives and internal business and project management owners, and support the selling process through win.
- Assess client needs utilizing existing program implementations and market best practices to design winning solutions and commercial models for current and future customers.
- Deploy, maintain, and deliver demo environments for CMS – TMS connectors.
- Instrument Pantheon (Internal Service Delivery Platform) configuration in alignment with the requirements of operations teams.
- Ideate as required with stakeholders and implementation teams to build new production models in a rapidly evolving business context.
- In partnership with operational leaders, craft a quality assurance and program structure proposal for each customer that surprises and delights buyers.
- Guide current and future customers and partners toward tangible data-driven outcomes and an aligned vision using the company’s offerings and products, and help customers envision integrating the company’s offerings into their processes and requirements seamlessly.
- Ensure correct instrumentation of tech and processes in new account onboarding.
- Support project managers and functional managers through implementation, to reinforce fidelity to customer requirements.
- Represent client requirements into the company’s Product roadmap and engineering implementations through the development of business requirements, and generate product ideas.
- Take responsibility for mentoring junior members of the team, providing training and support to the production team and supporting the Sales team as equal trusted partners.
- As required by customers, collaborate with other teams to develop, measure, and report pre-defined cost and savings efforts for production; in other words, solution production efficiencies for the benefit of both the company and customers.
Requirements:
- A good understanding of the overall Multilingual, AI/ML solutions and services business (outside of engineering) and the company strategy.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals and projects with tight turnaround and rapid deadlines. Managing tasks and collaboration with flexibility and urgency across a global team.
- Experience in pre-sales or post-sales roles with external clients across various industry markets.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and (as needed) demonstrate complex multilingual services concepts to a wide range of audiences.
- Good organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in a culturally diverse environment.
- Ability to clearly communicate detailed information both verbally and in a well-written document.
- Flexibility and ability to learn new technologies.
