DirecciónFord Credit IT is looking for a proficient Senior Software Engineer who is having excellent hands-on in Mobile app Development using iOS Native with Swift, Swift UI and Android Native with Kotlin,Jetpack Compose ,adhering Software Engineering practices.
Senior Software Engineer will build the scalable and fully available technical solutions in Digital space with team of Software Engineers based out of India and will be responsible to support global markets.
Senior Software Engineer will collaborate directly and continuously with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Architects, Engineering Manager and Product Owners of Mobile and other Cross functional team.
As a senior developer working in Ford Credit IT, you will join a team that supports to develop scalable mobile applications using Native and Multiplatform apps.
Act as a SPOC to drive engineering excellence for the respective POD’s and provide necessary inputs to the rest of the developers.
Build and maintain digital expertise by researching latest industry trends and standards, driving innovation through PoCs and experiments using Mobile SDK’s and the platforms.
Driving discussions and lead the decision making on all engineering aspects of his/her team.
Ability to define and execute the engineering roadmap for the areas under his/her ownership.
Drive engineering best practices for the team using various tools and stacks available
Define, implement, and maintain the health of the systems (both engineering and processes) for the areas under his/her ownership.
Proactive discussion with product and business in understanding the roadmap and proposing appropriate engineering solutions.
Ability to come up with engineering solutions with the data driven insights.
Hiring, mentoring, and motivate the best-in-class engineering teams.
Responsible for all stakeholder management including but not limited to business, product, operations, and clients/vendors.
Engage in Agile practices including but not limited to Stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos and journey mapping.
Nice to Have Skills:
5+ years of experience in integration with fault highly scalable platforms that consumes cloud API/REST/GraphQL(Pub/Sub).
Should have knowledge on basic cloud services and infrastructure as a code.
Experience in SRE in Tekton,GitOps,Bitrise,Jenkins and ability to coordinate various activities of the services considering observability, traceability and monitoring aspects.
At least 4 years of experience in Agile scrum software development process.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience.
Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical technology services and capabilities.
Experience deployment using source control using change sets and CICD pipelines.

Minimum 6-9 years of experience developing mobile apps with Native iOS/Native Android or both.
Extensive experience in Swift Package Manager,CocoaPods,JFrog,Gradle,Maven etc.
Must have experience in deploying apps to the stores using automated scripts.
Lead overall Mobile development from Engineering team and able to collaborate with cross functional teams based on the module being worked upon.
Ability to integrate with various customer engagement and analytics platform.
Ability to understand and create appropriate configuration on those platforms.
Ability to integrate the GraphQL from Native Mobile app.
Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining concurrency, queues and threading mechanisms available in Native iOS and Android.
Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical technology services and capabilities.
Experience with push notification solutions others than Firebase would be preferred.
Strong sense of code with ability to review code using SonarQube, Check Marx, rework and deliver Quality code.
Experience in Enterprise data analytics, Reporting and Monitoring using Splunk, Dynatrace, healthnut etc
Lead and mentor the teams for the respective platforms either on iOS/Android.
Able to make data driven decisions to align product roadmap.
Participate and collaborate with the engineering team ceremonies to drive execution of the various program part of Mobile platform.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and ensure smooth delivery of the projects end to end.
Drive conversation with cross functional teams and technical stakeholders in solving all dependencies.
Strong ITSM skills on Problem and release management.
Able to author all key process and emphasis on documentation.
