Purpose statement

Manages the development and implementation process of company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.

What are we looking for in you

Role: Supply Chain Transformation Specialist.

Works Closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Staff, and key stake holders such as BUMs and Finance to identify improvement opportunities within the processes triggered by Supply Chain and that may impact the results of the business. These may involve application of new technologies and/or existing ones, redefinition, and optimization of processes. Oversees and coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project-team, and line management.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Aling Supply Chain strategic imperatives with the transformation needs within the operations.
  • Assesses the different processes and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Acts as primary business analyst on projects, including gathering business requirements, writing specifications, and tracking those specifications through development and implementation.
  • Independently analyses and proposes improvements to key business processes for efficiency and improvement.
  • Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure program success.
  • Delivers reporting on key metrics for executive level reporting.
  • Acts as key “go-to” expert for business processes and related technologies.
  • Has knowledge of process improvement techniques like Six Sigma, Lean and/or Scrum.

The candidate requires s comprehensive technical and/or functional knowledge in technologies and their applications in process improvement such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotic process Automation, Tableau dashboards, computer programming, etc. Based on this knowledge the candidate will recommend new and/or improved work processes, typically at an area level impacting various teams.

The candidate must have the ability to solves complex and diverse problems, take a new perspective on existing solutions, and will exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information using specialized knowledge of various alternatives and their impact on the business.

Experience: Minimum three years of experience in process improvement preferably Supply Chain related and in medical devices or Pharma industry.

Career: Industrial Engineering, Biomedical engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical engineering

•            Impacts quality and effectiveness of customer, operational, project/program or service activities within own team and other related teams

•            Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization

Interactions (and Communications)

•            Exchanges complex information with others, potentially guiding and persuading others

•            Regularly participates in discussions and presentations in small, cross-functional meetings, logically presenting information to convey key messages
