About the role:
This role will provide the candidate with valuable tax experience as it involves not only tax knowledge but also Information Technology knowledge. Moreover, international experience will be valuable as the project is not only for Mexico but also for Argentina and Peru.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide all data needed for internal (Financial Consolidation and Reporting System) and external reporting (including statutory accounts, national statistics and tax information) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Proactively ensure the IDT (Indirect taxes as VAT, withholding taxes, custom taxes, etc.) automation processes are performed within Latam region.
• Effectively manage IDT calculation process and determine if any mistake is involved within the process.
• Risk management in terms of noticing mistakes in the IDT calculation process.
• Ensure tax compliance process is accurately accomplished along the Latam region.
• Maintain and administrate Tax invoices data bases and coordinate reports delivery with Local Tax teams along the region.
• Prepare and crossmatch Withholding accounts and Withholding tax certificates for some countries along the region.
Role Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3 - 5 years related experience
• English required
• Must be detail-oriented and analytical
• Able to multitask in a growing, dynamic environment
• Possess excellent organization and communication skills.
