In support of today’s increasing global markets and product regulatory requirements, GEV has a centralized tool for access to Technical Standards (the Standards Library). This role will be responsible for supporting all GEV businesses in the vetting and procurement from select Standards Collection vendors, supporting individual standard procurements and translations, and specialized standards needs while maintaining a lost cost profile and ensuring adherence to an annual budget.
Manage Corporate worldwide access to Technical Standards to all GE employees.
Plan, organize and execute budget.
Negotiations with worldwide located vendors.
Managing communication with Stakeholders for Budget Plan
Support End users on Procurement process for special projects
Skills/Experience
Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access database), web applications and e-business
Demonstrated Change agent working with cross functional teams
Global mindset and cultural sensitivity
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement best practices
Green Belt Certified (GE Employees only)
Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills including the ability to influence and energize.
Desired
International management experience, including supply chain, product stewardship, customs and import/export laws and regulations
Working knowledge of global regulatory compliance organizations and trends, including policies and procedures to assure compliance with applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations and third party guidelines.
Ability to understand and interpret Technical Standards

The salary range for this position is74,200- 92,700- 111,200USD annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 15% variable incentive compensation..
