Account Executive

IDC is looking for an Account Executive who will focus on selling IDC’s research products to prospects and existing accounts. This position is based in our office in Mexico City only.

• The Account Executive will be responsible for generating revenue in both renewal and new sales, and consulting opportunities to prospects and existing accounts.
• The main tactical activities for this professional are:
  1. New logos hunting
  2. Customer management, focusing on expanding the services provided by IDC (up and cross sell).
  3. Management of conflicts and problems with clients, acting as an interface between clients and analysts.
  4. Negotiation of contractual terms and conditions between IDC and Client.
  5. Work in collaboration with other sales executives from across Latin America to manage multinational or multi-Latin accounts;

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Pre-sales experience in Telecom, IT Services industries or consulting , along with strong written, analytical, and verbal communication skills
• Spanish and English fluency are a must . Portuguese language is desireble.
• Prior market research industry sales experience is helpful.
• Strong telephone cold calling experience preferred. Prior experience selling an intangible product or service is a plus.
• The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience developing high level relationships.
• This position requires strong time management and organization skills.
