BOAS is a boutique firm specialized in providing accounting, tax and administrative services to Mexican subsidiaries of transnational companies.
Position:
We are looking to hire a highly motivated Accounting Manager and/or Accounting Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities
Supervises the accounting and administrative staff. Oversees the daily activities of the team, ensures quality control over accounting records, financial reports, and taxes calculation. Conducts the monthly closing and ensures the reporting and taxes deadlines are met. Other activities assigned by management.
Education/Skills/Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in accounting. At least 3 years of relevant professional experience supervising teams and in accounting and taxes, preferred in accounting firms and handling subsidiaries of transnational companies. Knowledge and experience on Mexican Statutory Financial Statements, federal and local taxes, Foreign Investment reports and payroll calculation.
Excellent communication skills, effective time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, team player, hands-on, ability to operate and deliver without day-to-day supervision.
Microsoft Office Suite knowledge, Excel intermediate to advanced, Contpaq suite, SAT and Social Security applications and platforms.
Advanced English is strongly preferred but not a must.
Salary is negotiable for the Accounting Manager position.
