A Assistant Business Controller supports Business Controller in analyzing and monitoring the business performance. He/She supports the business by proactively identifying solutions to improve business performance. Assistant Business Controller supports the Business Controller in regularly reviewing and ensuring that activities are performed in accordance with the KONE Financial Control Model (FCM) and provides necessary analysis to ensure financial impacts are measured and reported following the KONE accounting standards and instructions
Responsbilities and key activities:
Provide analysis of key dependencies between the key operational processes, relationships, and metrics.
Being part of the business controlling team promote and ensure adequate finance understanding in the business organization.
Assist in evaluating industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization’s short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position
Provide actionable insights, key findings, and conclusions to business, not just numbers Ensure the correctness of managerial reporting including volume reporting (OR and sales), financial reporting (RE50 and R80), performance KPI’s (P2P, hours/floor), contract profitability
Analyze and understand the weekly/monthly actual performance of the business, as well as the deviations compared to planned (BUD /FCS) performance
Support the planning and forecasting processes
Provide financial parameters for the planning and forecasting processes to support the sales and cost planning by the business (e.g., inflation rate, foreign exchange rates, increases in wages and salaries, costs for corporate materials, milestone lead times) Validate and analyze the outcome and ensure realistic level of figures
Support the Business Controller to ensure that plans and forecasts are consolidated and reported in a timely manner and that deadlines are respected.
What do you need for this position?:
- Two or three years of related finance experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to interpret a variety of financial data
- Ability to interact with managers and stakeholders
- Proficient skills in communication, leadership and collaboration
