Grow your career as a successful Assistant Financial Controller within Hyatt Inclusive Collection, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Corporate Controller of HIC in Mexico. You will direct, control and coordinate the functions as designated by the Corporate Controller ensuring the office achieves financial goals.

A successful Assistant Financial Controller will:

  • Validate and present Federal and State taxes monthly.
  • Ensure that month end closing is completed accurately, and reports are generated timely. (Income Statement and One-time items report).
  • Provide accurate reconciliation of all Balance Sheet control accounts with complete supporting documentation for the Controller´s review on a monthly basis. (Blackline).
  • Prepare fixed asset depreciation schedules.
  • Calculate Amortization of insurance (Life and GMM).
  • Compile Intercompanies Loans reports.
  • Ensure that all accruals are accurate.
  • Exchange revaluation.
  • Prepare payroll & expense invoices (Alg Servicios corporativos).
  • Perform Bank Reconciliations.
  • Prepare Management Fees monthly billing (AR) and distribute to hotels.
  • Prepare Expense and Fee invoices and send to hotels.
  • Weekly preparation of Accounts Receivable reports.

A successful Assistant Financial Controller will have :

  • Accounting degree or business administration related.
  • Two years working in a similar role with detailed knowledge of working practices.
  • Finance accounting and tax experience.
  • Professional financial and tax skills knowledge.
  • Microsoft Office and SAP proficiency.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Strong administration and clear communication skills.
  • Knowledge in CFDI rules.
