In this role you will work with different organizations to help improve their processes and systems. The Business analyst interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs; gather documents and analyzes business needs and requirements. This role is critical for the PMO processes to ensure alignment in expectations with the business.
A successful IT Business Analyst will:
- Business process analysis to ensure alignment with any important initiative requirements.
- Analyze and map business processes (current state/future state).
- Analyze processes and data to identify gaps or perform process or data mapping.
- Facilitate communication across functional areas and internal departments.
- Develop with the business stakeholders the impact filter as part of the initial phase of new initiatives.
- Develop and maintain close and effective working relationships and engage all impacted keystone and other supporting teams.
- Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details, resume low level information to a general understanding.
- Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirements statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, and verifiable and allign to corporate standards.
- Guide stakeholders on effective and efficient approaches to achieving project objective
- Manage, prioritize, and assess the impact of project defects, including providing key input on the decisions to fix or defer
A successful IT Business Analyst will have:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years' related experience in business analysis
- 3+ years' experience in Data and Analytics technologies
- Proven experience in diagramming tools for process analysis
- Outstanding technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Produce high quality documentation.
- Ability to influence and persuade in order to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to confidently present concepts and solutions verbally in front of a group.
- Ability to offer alternative solutions to project scope.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proactively seek and gain knowledge in the BA and PM, and Regulations Compliance.
- Acts as a champion for the team and the company.
- Ability to manage large scale efforts by delegating tasks and overseeing multiple projects.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Expertise using Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent organizational, planning, facilitation, and prioritization skills.
- Experience on PowerBI technologies or BI-related.
