Job Title

Director, Account Management

•Responsible for coordinating a group of 2 Account Managers, managing the following accounts: BBVA, Inbursa, Edenred.

•To effectively manage the wide variety of banks under his/her responsibility she/he will be able to deeply understand payments market industry: trends, players, products, technologies, etc. as well as its customer´s position in the market

•As most of the banks within his/her responsibility are either new market players or new to MasterCard she/he must deeply understand its customer’s strategy, positioning, customer base, needs and becomes a trusted advisor of the customer in payments. Understands customer´s needs from different perspective: products, operations, segments, customer service, etc. Uses this knowledge to identify business opportunities for MasterCard as well as to present solutions to our customer aligned with their strategy and requirements.

•She /he must be able to develop a strong relationship with Top management, mostly the CEO of the account under his/her responsibilities. She/he is responsible for negotiating customer agreements that significantly favors MasterCard over our competition, while maintains a strong revenue contribution from her/his accounts.

•Understands MasterCard value proposition for each of our products, understands differences with our competition, our competitive advantage and pricing. This knowledge is applied in all conversations with the bank to ensure that customers value our product and services, as well as to help MasterCard teams to present and create solutions that better fit our customer´s need.

•Becomes an active seller of all MasterCard products and services within all the areas of the bank. In some specific cases, support from Product experts is requested. Continuously meets sales targets and performance.

•Manages the day to day relationship with all the areas of the bank involved in payments: products, operations, segments, customer service, etc. to ensure that MasterCard delivers on the value proposition promised to our customer.

•Coordinates different work streams with the bank on special projects. Ensures internal alignment and well as outstanding delivery to our customers.

•Develops, and presents business proposals, including Value proposition and Financial proposal. Negotiates with the stakeholders. Ensures that all internal processes (CAR, Salesforce, etc.) are completed with high quality.

•Participates in external forums and seminars always acting as an ambassador of MasterCard products and solutions.

•Develops internal proposals to improve performance and achieve greater customer satisfaction.
