Experience Years:10 Years of Experience Employee Type:Regular About the OpportunityThe Director of Infrastructure Services is responsible for leading the successful design, implementation and maintenance of Driscoll's Compute, Cloud, Storage and Data Center infrastructure that meets the requirements of the organization. As a key member of the IT leadership team, this role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy.

This role provides highly valued technical, and strategic, consulting support and guidance through key IT initiatives. The successful candidate will communicate priorities, relevant project information, and decisions to appropriate levels of staff regarding requests, projects and initiatives. They will partner with senior IT and business leadership to identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (ROI, Productivity, Compliance, etc.).

This role will lead the respective engineering and operations teams responsible for Cloud Services, Data Center backup / Storage and Microsoft & Directory services – including system maintenance and performance monitoring in support of the overall IT service offering. ResponsibilitiesProvides leadership, motivation, coaching, professional development and day-to-day support to foster an engaged work environment with a focus on end-to-end service delivery. The Director will oversee the selection, development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of the Driscoll's technology infrastructure.

Assists staff in developing methods and processes to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and security of the network services, desktop support and user support functions. Stays current in technology trends and proactively provides technology recommendations. Establishes service level agreements and monitors progress toward key service delivery performance indicators (KPI's) or metrics.

Manages the development and delivery of IT standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise. Manages the daily operations of the Cloud, Data Center, O365 and Azure environments with emphasis on the security and stability of Driscoll's compute environments. Manages and participates in the planning and implementation of security standards, practices and procedures to ensure system security and legal compliance.

Develop, schedule, test and communicate the IT Disaster Recovery plan and Procedures specific to Driscoll's compute environment. Collaborate with the senior staff on the evaluation, allocation, and management of physical and financial resources and administer the hiring, development/training, management, evaluation, and effective assignment of personnel. Architect appropriate technological, procedural, and educational/training security practices that result in an appropriate level of information security for Driscoll's.

Responsible for relationship building, creative problem solving, and proficient management of projects, resources, and new technologies in a dynamic environment. Develop and maintain multiple project plans – define scope and objectives for technology initiatives. Prioritizes work efforts to balance operational tasks with long-term strategic initiatives.

Partner with the CISO to perform risk assessments, audits, security incident management, and vulnerability management. Perform detailed analysis of the IT Security requirements and current state. Works with internal auditors to ensure compliance with adopted IT policies and procedures.

Candidate ProfileBA in Computer Science or related field required. 10-15 years' experience managing global technical/engineering team and designing, deploying and managing IT infrastructure. 20 years' experience with Microsoft services and Azure infrastructure technology.

Managing multi-cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP), Enterprise storage & backup platforms and Active directory services (Cloud & Premise). Provide leadership and judgement, and to collaborate with other leaders in establishing strategic priorities aligned with Driscoll's overall business. Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals – an innovative leader and problem solver.

Demonstrated strong interpersonal, presentation, oral communication skills, written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation and strong understanding of business processes. Ability to build consensus with a strong commitment to teamwork, and knowledge sharing. Effectively communicates technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.

Balance operational tasks with long-term strategic technology initiatives. A natural influencer and coalition builder; passionate about building high performing teams. Experienced with contract and vendor negotiations.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure situations. IS (IT) operations experience in a multinational company. History of delivering projects and services on time and on budget.

Foreign Language: Spanish and English.
