Director, Security Services

Job Description: Director of Security Services Practice We are seeking a highly motivated and seasoned security professional with creativity, initiative, teamwork, and project management skills to lead our Security Services Practice in the region. The Practice is responsible for providing executive protection services, as well as security training, embedded consultant services, and ad hoc consultancy.

The Director will play a key role in the practice as a fee-earning consultant, but also as a team leader who will oversee the delivery of executive protection services, embedded consulting services, as well as deliver training and consultancy. Responsibilities The Director's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Day to day supervision of executive protection engagements Design and consultancy regarding required level of executive protection support to Clients Design and delivery of embedded consulting projects Delivery of training - security awareness, executive protection, defensive driving, high-risk environments Ad hoc consultancy - particularly related to Client executive protection programs and secure transport Client engagement and consulting: Project manage and work both individually and in teams to deliver Control Risks' services to clients.

This includes assessing, designing, implementing, and improving our executive protection, embedded consulting, and training offerings and capabilities Conduct and/or oversee other consultants and operatives in delivering executive protection tasks and secure transport Assist clients in addressing complex domestic and international security risk challenges and crafting innovative, adaptable, and sustainable security solutions Work with client stakeholder teams to ensure that business priorities are represented in our security solutions Actively lead on projects from first client inquiry to scoping, proposal development, task servicing, quality assurance, and project closure Lead the practice area, including line management, resourcing, budgets, and invoicing for Control Risks' projects in the practice area Growth and Development of the Business The Director will also be responsible for establishing relationships with new clients and growing relationships with existing clients through the outstanding delivery and management of projects.

They will work closely with account managers in a consultative sales capacity to join existing client conversations as a subject matter expert and to close new opportunities. Additionally, the Director will contribute to marketing through public speaking engagements, authoring thought leadership pieces, and development of marketing materials. Requirements

The successful candidate will have: Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in operational Security Services delivery management fields, either in a corporate or "in-house" setting or a security risk management consulting role or mixed with appropriate law enforcement/authority Knowledge of corporate security industry best practices within the executive protection realm Proven ability to successfully deliver quality solutions, including written and oral delivery of training, presentations, and reports Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) Bachelor's degree - preferred in security and risk prevention subject area Seven years of relevant consulting experience in operational Security Services provision, including commercial management of business operations Operational experience in the delivery of risk management solutions in a complex and challenging environment Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while effectively juggling competing demands, prioritize appropriately, and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously Project management skills within a commercial/consulting environment Ability to work independently in fast-paced, multi-task environment Strong interpersonal skills – building trust & rapport across a matrixed organization Ability to summarize large amounts of information in a concise manner and communicate effectively to colleagues and clients Ability to travel when required up to 50% J-18808-Ljbffr
