Join Ecolab’s sales team as a Distributor Sales Manager  This outside sales opportunity is within our industry leading Institutional division, which offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries. After completing an initial training program, you will be assigned to an established territory of customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

What You Will Do:

  • Distributors search and development
  • Drive sales focused on independent accounts
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with and among all levels of the distributors and with Ecolab personnel in the distributor's geographic area
  • Maintain and increase sales, develop and implement sales and marketing strategy with assigned distributors
  • Liaising with multiple distribution partners in Mexico and partnering to deliver high growth targets
  • Train Distributor Sales representatives on Ecolab products through effective sales techniques
  • New product introduction, demonstrations, and product usage
  • Presenting ongoing Executive Business Reviews to key distribution partners
  • Travel between 40-50% of the time within the country

Position Details:

  • Candidate must reside in: Mexico, Mexico

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3 years of Sales experience or completion of inside sales development program
  • Previous experience working with distributors, e.g., working with hotels and restaurants
  • Communication and negotiation ability
  • Willing to be on call during off hours and during weekend coverage
  • English proficiency
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous business to business commercial sales experience
  • Industry related experience in food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality and/or pool and spa
