Regional Communications Manager-AstraZeneca
Contributes to multiple Regional Corporate Affairs and communications projects to help AstraZeneca communicate important corporate messages to internal and external stakeholdersContributes to engagements with key internal or external groups, such as sales teams, external charities, government lobbyists and regulatorsCarries out research, either individually or as part of a team, into more complex areas of government legislation, regulation, managed markets or public policyLiaises with brand managers and other internal colleagues to explain how internal or external developments can affect their brands or areas of responsibilityHelps brand leaders develop communications programs and strategies tied to their respective brand strategiesBuilds and participates in internal and external networks to share information in the legislative, regulatory or public policy arena and disseminate best practices internallyMay manage data information systems to keep track of external relations with various social groups or charitiesMay engage with lobbyists or government or regulatory officialsMay oversee the regulatory submissions for particular product categories or brandsMay have budget management responsibilitiesMay be responsible for communicating with and organizing external vendors and service providersActs as a resource in one or more areas of Corporate Governance, helping managers and other colleagues resolve more complex Corporate Affairs and communication related issuesQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in communications or a related fieldSome experience in communications or Corporate affairs at a regional levelUnderstanding of new media, especially social networksExpertise in one or more area(s) of internal or external corporate communicationsExperience in the pharmaceutical industry
