Position Overview:
We seek a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team at our Tijuana office. The Mechanical Engineering Manager will be pivotal in designing, developing, and improving our industry-leading pumps and dredge equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of EDDY Pump.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a mechanical engineers and designers team to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Oversee the development and design of heavy-duty pumps and dredge equipment, ensuring product quality, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Manage the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production, including design validation and testing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Conduct engineering analysis and simulations to ensure product compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Mechanical Engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, with a proven track record of managing engineering teams.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).
- Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and mechanical design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per month
