Operations Manager

Responsible for all activities to comply with the production schedule, as well as responsible for meeting the objectives assigned by plant management such as: Safety, quality, delivery, production costs and develop and engage people, through the basis of discipline, respect, and execution.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for establishing goals and strategies within the value stream and deploy to all team members.

· Develop the operational plan for achieving the goals set by the plan management and the Director of the value chain (VSM Director)

· Establish and manage annual operating budget aligned to the overall budget of the plant and to the budget established by the VSM leader.

· Administer and manage the resources allocated to the value chain (VSM) for achieving the objectives set.

· Coordinate daily priorities and transmit them to other support areas such as MRB, Quality, HR, etc.

· Ensure those quality systems, safety of employees and all management system implemented by the deployment and compliance within the value chain.

· Ensure that deliveries to the customer are given in time and meet all requirements established by the client.

· Develop, deploy, allocate and monitor the key metrics that help meet the goals set by management.

· Inform, promote, and ensure compliance of subordinates on policies, standards and company procedures. Lead by example y be a mentor.

· Implement and lead continuous improvement plans within the value chain such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and cost reduction.

· Bachelor´s degree in industrial engineering or related field.

· Experience: 3 years experience in a management role.

· Skills and knowledge: Leadership, effective communication, work under pressure, fundamentals of lean manufacturing, problem solving and teamwork.
