Operations Manager - Hightech Logistics

Your Role

You will have a leading role in your department in the realization of the objectives of the site. The Operations Manager is responsible for directing, coordinating, and starting up / following up operational measures.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop people within the operational organization so that they can actively participate in the realization and improvement of the results;
• Draw up, execute and adjust the tactical & operational plan for the department based on the long-term. You translate long-term strategy into daily operations; #
• Ensure activities are carried out according to the agreed SQCDPE objectives (safety, quality, cost, delivery, people, environment) and continuous improvement is in place for relevant processes;LI-AM4
• Maximize customer satisfaction and engagement;
• Understand where the customer's values lie and convert them into concrete proposals that we work on internally;
• Ensure customer meetings (MBR, QBR) are sufficiently prepared.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor degree in the area of Logistics or equal level by experience;
• 5 years of experience in a managerial operational position in logistics;
• Born confident and motivator with enthusiasm to lead people. You are a decision maker and able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders;
• Result driven mindset, good communication and presentation skills, strong team spirit and customer oriented;
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, …) and recognized for your analytical skills;
• Excellent command of English and Dutch is mandatory.
