As a member of a small, dedicated product team, the Product Manager works closely with engineering, quality assurance, design, services, support, marketing, consulting, and sales teams to bring value to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing execution of the product development lifecycle from ideation, research, validation, and planning, through construction, testing, release, and customer adoption. Product Managers are responsible for managing roadmap development and ensuring that the product meets the needs of our customers and the supply chain visibility market.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Translate customer and market requirements into product design and functional specifications for cloud-based software products; work with engineering and QA to ensure successful development.
- Create, validate, communicate, evangelize, and execute product vision and roadmap that helps our customers prevent or solve their business problems.
- Develop internal and external communication materials to convey the solution's value to customers, and to support solution implementation, adoption, and support.
- Solve complex software design, workflow, and data challenges.
- Gather feedback and conduct user research to ensure user adoption and satisfaction.
- Participate in customer or prospect meetings to present the product roadmap, participate as a subject matter expert, or understand other concerns as raised by the customer.
- Represent the product as a domain expert and own the product backlog for the adaptive user experience.
- Working closely with geographically distributed teams.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in software product management, development, implementation, consulting, or other software related or supply chain or logistics related positions.
- Ability to recognize business problems and translate them into easy-to-use technology solutions.
- Written and verbal business communication skills in English including prior presentation experience.
- Project management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Enterprise, SaaS and/or web platform software development lifecycle a plus.
- Experience working with large, abstract systems and processes including data management.
- Experience in Supply Chain, logistics, or inventory management.
- User and/or User Experience research experience.
- Experience with data visualization products.
