Describe the principal mission of the position
For his scope of ownership (technologies & product functions) he is in charge of and accountable for:
- Capitalization, development & formalization of process standards in line with standard products
- Promotion of process standards, Technical trainings and coaching
- Design reviews on process development
- Continuous improvement & innovation of the process
- Support to local process engineering teams and worldwide process network
On his Regional industrial facilitator function, he is the ambassador of his “scope of ownership” through the organization and is
the local relay of other standard owners

Highlight the main responsibilities
Capitalization & standardization
Creates & maintain technical process standards (Standard assembly functions, standard interface product/process, Process
design rules, Process design Check list, Process SPPC generic list, Process generic PFMEAs…) to capitalize the know-how covering
his scope of ownership (Motors & sub-assemblies assembly process) in line with standardization strategy.
Capitalizes the Lessons Learned (LLCs) in his (her) standards to ensure a fast implementation in new projects.
Ensures that his(her) standards are “easy to use & understand” worldwide (easy to check, to understand, to access, to learn).
Participates to the weekly standardization committee and Motors Project Design Review for CLEAN milestones.
Promotion & Technical training
Ensures that each of his(her) process standards is covered by a training module (Could be the Standard document itself).
Performs training to worldwide process engineering teams on new standards.
Identify needs of training on his (her) process standards perimeter on local demand formalized by Industrial local manager.
Develops & maintains training modules covering his (her) process standards perimeter.
Design Reviews
Every quarter Performs the Design Reviews on site or by phone for all projects for his(her) scope of ownership according to
projects prioritization & planning (defined by Raise coordination or Project leader specific demand).
Take opportunity of region travel to support locally Design Reviews regarding RAISE Design Rules that are not in his ownership
Assess the implementation of his (her) process standards (component standards, Design rules respect, standard design on
worldwide platforms, new capacity processes,…) and the technical risks (incl. manufacturability).
Agrees with the action plan defined by the process engineering teams and tracks its progress.
Assesses or escalate de-standardization requests issued by project teams.
Participate in the quotation & sourcing decision process to all new capacity investment in his (her) respective standard.
Participate in the definition of new processes for all in sourcing decision for respective motor family, validate assembly line
concept design proposed by local team.
Continuous improvement & innovation
Ensures continuous improvement of process standards through development of technologies & product functions, innovation and
technology watch. Improvements will come from P2, P1 & P0 local industrial team.
Work in common with Product standard owner and benchmark team to identify potential improvement in our standards based on
competitors.
Work with all industrial and process worldwide network, industrial PL direction to validate his standards
Support to local process engineering teams
Supports the local process engineering teams to solve difficult technical issues when needed on respective technologies
responsibility, Regional support on all technologies.
Supports by participating to customer or supplier meetings when needed.
Promotes RAISE methodology and usage of standards. Develops team spirit with Product standard owners and all worldwide
process engineering teams.
Participate in new processes launch for respective motor family with local process engineering team.

What education and education level are necessary for the position?
Process Engineering degree or recognized expertise / competency in technical Wipers domains (Motors and sub-assemblies
assembly)

How many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position?
More than 5 years in Industrial in Wiper motors
