You'll play a vital role in an exciting and fast-paced position within the Baker Hughes Singapore. You'll work on short/long-term assignments aimed at developing new and improving existing designs, supporting activities, and resolving field issues. You'll be capable of undertaking design, validation & verification activities on Oil & Gas equipment.
As a Project Lead Engineer - Subsea Connections, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as the technical leader/manager to develop a scope of work and plan schedule and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
- Providing technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, Baker Hughes Product Engineering, Sourcing, Engineering sub-contractors.
- Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations.
- Working together with business leadership at SPB and EB level. Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done.
- Delivering products as part of a cross functional teams. Alternatively: Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
- Contributing to entire design cycles of subsea items within 3D Modelling software and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) environments.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Have established industry experience within a mechanical engineering or project engineering role.
- Have established experience in mechanical design, ideally for Oil & Gas/Subsea.
- Have substantial experience using 3D Modelling software and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.
- Be able to work in a multi-cultural global organization, with open and inclusive mindset.
