Job Description:
TheCommunication Technology Group (CTG) is focusing on the Communications, Media and Entertainment customer segments in HPE. CTG business is uniquely positioned providing industry specific rich solutions built around capabilities in following solution domains: BSS, OCS, Mediation, Fraud & Revenue Intelligence, Digital Identity, Network Applications, Video Applications, Digital Transformation and Consulting & System Integration. It is an innovative organization focused on selling software as a service and fully aligned with overall HPE GreenLake as-a-service strategy.
In a typical day as Account Principle you:
- Manage and develop the HPE CTG business in Switzerland.
- Sell CTG software and solutions to support customers to operate and orchestrate reliable services in hybrid and virtualized environments.
- Build a broad network of industry relationships and contacts in targeted accounts and countries.
- Capture sales opportunities to increase the company’s market share in accordance with CTG strategy and execute on sales forecast.
- Set directions for business development and solution replication.
- Create and grows reference customers.
- Work with HPE sales, CTG presales and delivery teams
- Collaborate with virtual team to orchestrate and sell complex customer solutions.
- Establish a professional and consultative working relationship with the client, including the C- level by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs.
- Deliver on assigned quota metrics and target to over-achieve the set quota with quarter KPIs.
- Develop and maintain robust pipeline of potential leads and opportunities, focusing on forecast accuracy.
- Develop and maintain account plans, and opportunity close plans.

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…
- University or bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of the Telco market and digital transformation journey
- Proven track record in sales, with a focus on hunting and acquiring new business in the Communication Providers’ segment.
- Experience in working with System Integrators, Solution Consulting Companies and Network Equipment Providers
- Partner engagement experience
- Cultural awareness, sensitivity, and ability to work in multiple geographies.
- Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota diversity of business customer, and higher-level customer interface
- Consultative solution selling and business development skills.
- Leadership and initiative in successfully driving sales - prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Desired traits: passion to win; think out-of-the box, eager to learn, growth mindset, entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Professional English language skills, German beneficial.
