Sales Development Trainer

The Sales Development Trainer is responsible for co-creating and implementing a learning strategy for our top of funnel SDR teams. This role will serve as an expert on best practices in pipeline generation. Candidates will need a strong background in the basic value propositions for Thomson Reuters tax, accounting, and audit software products. This includes updating, maintaining and delivering impactful training and coaching workshops that drive increased performance among the SDR team. 
Partnership with our sales teams is crucial and this individual will need to intake feedback and support the overarching pipeline generation strategies on the team. 
building, designing and implementing the ongoing coaching and training for our SDR teams in the U.S. and Mexico.


About You
You're a fit for the role of Sales Development Trainer if your background includes:

  • Building and facilitating interactive training and coaching workshops building top of funnel skills
  • Have 1-3 years of high performance in a selling or pipeline generation role.
  • Determines training needs by joining calls with sales support team members; observing workflow; reviewing key metrics/results; conferring with sales leaders and peers. 
  • Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions. 
  • Constantly evaluates processes and results for sales support teams and recommends process improvements and/or changes in scope to better address the needs of the full Tax & Accounting Professionals business. 
  • Understands market, business, and customer context related to TR products and services. 
  • Communicates effectively in writing; including the ability to present information, ideas and arguments in ways that facilitate understanding.
  • Manages time effectively to establish clear priorities; can achieve intended outcomes within allocated timescale and resources with autonomy.
  • Identifies and finds solutions to potential training problems which may be systemic to the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as pertains to adult learning
