The Red Hat Tech Sales team is looking for a Senior Account Solutions Architect to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico. In this role, you will become a subject matter expert for Red Hat's solutions. You’ll understand our customers' technologies, people, and processes and recommend open source solutions that solve tough business problems. You’ll need to take a big-picture view of the customers’ organization, recognize the challenges, and help to overcome them with comprehensive, cost-effective solutions. As a Senior Account Solutions Architect, you will have access to new ideas that emerge in the IT world and there will always be something new to learn or a new problem to solve.
- Serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing the technical, development, and strategic IT needs
- Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification, and the design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions
- Architect solutions to meet the unique requirements of Red Hat's new and emerging customers and oversee proofs of concepts and pilot implementations of Red Hat's solutions portfolio
- Learn new technologies and apply these concepts to customer needs
- Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat's services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk
- Present creative ideas in the community by producing exceptional whitepapers and webinars and by speaking at high-profile industry conferences
- 7 + years of architecture experience with focus on enterprise virtualization, cloud, or datacenter infrastructure
- Record of working in a consulting setup with background in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business executives
- Broad and deep technical experience with cloud solutions on both delivery and architecture levels
- Great written and verbal communication skills in English
- Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services
- Proven ability to work with distributed cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
- Good balance of strategic and tactical skills
