Core Responsibilities:
· Lead expert in manufacturing packaging processes and machinery.
· Platform driver for Machinery Standardization.
· Drive continues improvement projects.
· Implements new products, platforms, and Projects implementation core activities.
· Validates new platforms and process definition according project model standard.
· Follow-up Machine´s safety risk assessments considering local global methodologies.
· Continuous improvement in machinery and processes.
· Production support.
· Leads the engineering and technical initiatives to solve the opportunities in safety, quality, delivery, cost areas.
· Responsible for production platforms.
· Create procedures and visual aids.
· Engineering changes and Installation of equipment.
· Contact with suppliers and contractors.
· Create and update reports and metrics.
· Mapping and standardization of the critical parameters of equipment.
· Cross-functional and cross-site knowledge sharing.
· Cooperation with all local and global departments.
· Performs ergonomic assessments to new products and platforms considering local and global regulations.
· Drives safety risk reduction initiatives and ergonomic improvements.
· Close collaboration with R&D department for the development of new technologies.
· Able to support all platforms of the area (Operations).
· Direct representative of the area manager.
· Active participation and owner of LCI tools.
· Owner of engineering processes.
· Brickmate for new colleagues.
Do you have what it takes?
· 3-5 years of experience working as Process Engineer or similar position.
· Six sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (UANL, UDEM, ITESM, etc).
· Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
· Mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, automation and electric knowledge is desired.
· Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, Minitab.
· Core tools Handling.
· Experience working with 2D and 3D software.
· Knowledge of process simulation software is beneficial.
· High level of functional expertise.
· Decision making skills.
· Ability to share knowledge and encourage people.
· Ability to encourage new ideas and inspire innovation.
· English fluent level.
· Passport and Visa is required for this role.
· Willing to travel, time availability, result oriented.
Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position
