Position Summary:The Solution Architect Business Intelligence will gather requirements and analyze data to solve complex problems and evaluate scenarios to make predictions on future outcomes and support decision making. Acting independently, this person serves as a technical expert in Business Intelligence and data analysis.The Business Intelligence Solution Architect will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Business Intelligence capabilities in a timely and accurate manner. They will lead all aspects of the delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and will synthesize overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Contribute to enterprise architecture as steward for Enterprise Analytics division. Applicant must possess an excellent understanding of the data warehouse lifecycle, and advanced Business Intelligence skills.Besides projects, the Solution Architect Business Intelligence will also perform 2nd and 3rd level support for all our business units in Business Intelligence area. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Job Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement robust BI solutions to serve the needs of our businessArchitect and develop reporting semantic layerAnalyze existing databases, reports, and processes for opportunities to further automate or simplify utilizing BI toolsProvide design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategyElicit business requirements, including retention, granularity, and related factors by consulting with business partners and enterprise leadershipWork on assigned tickets (incidents and service requests) for all Harman BI systems.Proactively monitor the systems ensure availability of data.Conducts detailed analysis sessions with end users and business SMEs. Analysis, design and transfer of business requirements into a Business Intelligence landscape.Contribution in architecting solutions.Implementation of data models, reports and applications.Suggests options and recommendation solutions to key business users.Development of training material, configuration and process documentations and organization of training coursesPreparing system documentation.Work to ensure high resilience and performance tuning.Provide Level 2 3 support of Business Intelligence applications.Collaborates with Global Centers of Excellence for the respective technology tower.Work with vendor project teams on implementation projects. Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computers, Information Technology, or related fieldDemonstrated experience (4 to 5 years) of increasing responsibilities within a global, multicultural, multi-location organization.Must have these technical skillsSAP Business Intelligence:SAP BW administration and configurationSAP BW Bex ExplorerSAP ERP: SAP BW Interface implementationSAP BW Interface configuration 3rd party toolsStrong Knowledge in SAP BW related ABAPQlikview/Qliksense(Nice to Have)Experience designing multi-dimensional data models using Star and/or Snowflake schemas for analytical useMust be knowledgeable in agile software development lifecycles/methodologiesSAP BW Interface configuration with 3rd party toolsGood analytical, organizational and problem solving skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects.A global perspective with the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.Proven ability to manage key stakeholder interests, simultaneously managing conflicting priorities and business interests.Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Demonstrated experience managing customer-facing, strategic projects as well as Application Development projects.Experience with outsourcing, contracts, and in managing virtual teams.
