We are searching for the best talent for Strategic Affairs Senior Manager to be located in Mexico City, Mexico.
General Summary:
The Strategic Affairs Senior Manager leads the Strategic Affairs Working Group, ensuring alignment between the different functions that form it and the Company’s Strategic Objectives.
comprehensive market access strategy to approach HTA and institutional technology assessment committees to present the evidence regarding a health technology to support decision making by policy makers, key opinion leader’s payers and providers, seeking to maximize access to Janssen’s innovative medicines portfolio in Mexican Institutions.
The following processes and activities fall under the direct responsibility of this position:
Areas of Responsibility:
• Creation and deployment, in coordination with the Communications department, an external narrative for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine around strategic topics related to the value of innovation and access to new therapies.
• Coordinate and manage the external stakeholder engagement plan, ensuring key messages are updated in alignment of strategic objectives.
• Plan and execute key initiatives, liaisoning the Government Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Legal, and Communications leaders to maximize Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s Strategic Affairs’ impact in the external environment.
• Anticipate changes in the external environment that may have regulatory, access, and policy implications for the Company and its Innovative Medicine present and future portfolio.
• Represent the Mexican Organization in the Regional Strategic Affairs Working Group, raising relevant insights and downloading regional strategies to the local organization.
• As a Senior Leader, bring a positive growth mindset to the organization, working with peer leaders in shaping and preparing the Company for the future.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
• Knowledge of healthcare systems , with experience in monitoring trends and evaluating key drivers in the public environment
• Advanced negotiation and networking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English
• Advanced Degree, Master’s degree, MBA or other post-graduation related to fields: public health, hospital administration, medicine is considered a plus.
• Travel up to 30%
• Prior people management and/or team leadership experience
• Analytical skills with the ability to review and analyze information
• Project management skills and experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and within a team environment
