You'll be responsible for (Responsibilities):

JOB OVERVIEW

Motivated IT PM to lead low and medium complexity IT enterprise projects; adheres to established metrics for project success; applies standards (e.g., delivery process, roles and responsibilities, operational norms, compliance). The ideal candidate should have 5 yrs. of experience in handling multiple projects and drive them to successful completion. Previous experience in Healthcare and reporting is a plus.

JOB DUTIES

• Manages project delivery process, scope, and costs of low and medium complexity projects under supervision; drives completion of the project.
• Assists in maintaining and validating the project scope, plans and schedules for projects; adheres to established metrics for project success; applies standards (e.g., delivery process, roles and responsibilities, operational norms, compliance).
• Supports in monitoring identified risks to project success and informs applicable stakeholders.
• Manages stakeholder relationships; executes Technical Project communication plan.
• Supports in managing change by identifying impacts of the project, building awareness and support for change within the organization.
• Track and escalate issues with compliance items.
• Oversee project financials including but not limited to weekly review, and corrective actions on Labor/CAPEX/Opex spend and escalations.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation, make adjustments as needed to stay within budget.
• Apply Project Management metrics (PMO) to assess project and financial performance, ensuring alignment with business goals and make data driven decisions.

• Collaborate with the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and Integration engine vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of products or services as outlined in contracts.
• Provide weekly and monthly status of all the critical red and amber projects to the senior leadership and project stakeholders, including critical path items requiring immediate attention and mitigation.
• Identify and eliminate waste in processes by reviewing the labor effort and eliminate idle/waiting time for project resources.
• Work with Quality Assurance team to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions to maintain quality throughout the project.
• Track and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 3-5 yrs. experience in IT required.
• Minimum 5 years regulatory software development life cycle (SDLC) activity experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and integration project management in a life sciences environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience software design and development projects.
• For offshore resource: Availability to work until 2pm Eastern time zone.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience with IT project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office are a plus.
