Job Description
What we can offer you! - Your Role:
In this role you will be responsible for performing and documenting a variety of tests, to evaluate the performance and reliability of final RFID products as well as early prototypes. As a Test Engineer you will be working closely with the production area, product designers, quality engineers & Product Management team to design test setups, build prototypes and analyze test results to create the best performing RFID products on the market. In addition, you have a major role in developing the test methods and equipment to support our continuous efforts to increase efficiency and quality of lab testing.
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
- Planning, executing and reporting laboratory tests for production validation and prototypes, pilot runs and product evaluation purposes
- Designing and improving wireless RFID testing setups
- Learning to use lab equipment efficiently and effectively, maintaining laboratory systems and devices
- Testing RFID tags and characterizing RFID ICs
- Hands-on sample machine preparation.
- Performing basic calculations on test results and creating demanded documentation
- Maintaining and calibrating standard lab equipment
- Supporting a positive culture of safety to ensure the laboratory meets all health and safety requirements
- Carrying out product failure analysis and providing clear root cause investigation
Qualifications
What we expect from you! - Your Expertise:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Electrical-Mechanical Engineering, RF Electronics, IT Systems or related field.
- 2-3 years of job experience as control engineer or similar position
- Being familiar with RF testing technologies, ethernet network and measurement systems, such as VNA and Spectrum Analyzer.
- Work experience in Network, Electronics or RF Electronics Laboratory, preferably in manufacturing industry
- Technical interest in machines and equipment used in laboratories.
- Ability to write prompt and readable testing reports
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
- Experience working with wireless technologies or products is highly appreciated but not mandatory
