Job Description Summary: This role sits within the Growth Marketing Database Marketing (DBM) team and will be based in Singapore. The candidate will be responsible to support and execute against the data targeting strategy for PayPal's merchant business. The ultimate objective of this role is to generate customer demand and deliver quality leads to support the corporate sales teams across APAC in exceeding their revenue goals. The role takes specific focus on day-to-day campaign leads roll out, operational needs and local/regional long-term approach to operation/automation of campaign work as opposed to an ad-hoc project basis.
Job Description:
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Execute & deliver sales-oriented projects using SQL, Python, Notebook and Tableau
- Work with internal teams and 3rd party vendors to develop new data-led campaign and pilots
- Work closely with business functions to convert data driven insights into business actions
- Drive E2E campaign execution, process refinement and enhanced automation and optimisation.
- Using a data approach, collaborate with stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of critical business questions across topics like
- Marketing campaign attribution and optimisation
- Potential customers sizing and targeting
- Technical operations metrics
- Identify data opportunities and perform descriptive/predictive analytics as needed
Experience and Skills (the what)
- 1+ years of experience in B2B, lead generation or marketing analytics.
- 1+ years of recent SQL experience with a deep understanding of structure and unstructured databases
- Bilingual capabilities are mandatory depending on respective region.
- Basic understanding of Python, R or other language to performance data analytical tasks
- Proven understanding of commercial data and how to leverage that to drive marketing and sales campaigns
- Working knowledge in relevant technologies – Salesforces, Teradata, BigQuery, Notebooks
- Able to drive collaboration within a matrixed environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, results-oriented and an appreciation of diversity in teamwork.
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer science, Information technology, or a similar field.) – MBA or advanced quantitive degree is a plus.
