Role
This role will support the continuous development of a digital environment in which merchants and issuers exchange enhanced data through Mastercard’s Identity Check ecosystem, identify the level of risk, and ensure the person behind the transaction is who they say they are. Identity Check is a Mastercard Authentication program leveraging EMV 3DS protocol, enabling greater security and a consistent, user-friendly digital payment experience, reducing fraud, false declines, and unnecessary friction—meeting the need for simple and secure payments.

The right candidate will establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external stakeholders and actively support the acceleration of Identity Check adoption in the Latin American & Caribbean region. Additionally, the Director will lead strategic initiatives and execute the Identity Check product strategy, ensuring alignment with the global and regional objectives.

Specific responsibilities include:

From a product perspective:
_Identify, evaluate, and prioritize business cases for new business and product opportunities and build business models to improve Mastercard’s footprint and competitiveness.
_Support external stakeholders (e.g., issuers, acquirers, PSPs, merchants, ACSs, etc.) in properly deploying and adopting the solutions.
_Select and monitor performance metrics that assess product performance, revenue, scalability, and longevity and utilize results to ideate innovative solutions to challenges in the business unit's portfolio or product strategy.
_Develop/improve value proposition for your product suite and key customer segments.
_Lead the Product Management Excellence (PME) process to manage the delivery of ongoing innovation and enhancements.
_Partner with global, regional, and local teams to execute Product Management and go-to-market initiatives within supported markets.

From a commercial perspective:
_Develop and orchestrate execution of sales strategies covering, but not limited to, Identity Check, Smart Authentication solution suite, Biometric Authentication Services, and others.
_Effectively manage a pipeline of proposals from early lead stages to signature.
_Drive tangible data-driven business outcomes at the product level, manage a quantified scorecard continuously monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators, and optimize product performance.
_Work with different groups to advance and execute the strategic agenda.
_Advise and support sales & account teams by managing the product(s) pricing conversations and overseeing training development and product support materials.
_Act as an expert, advocate for, and champion designated to internal and external stakeholders.
_Responsible for the overall product financial performance of the products under responsibility

Key Qualifications
_Domain experience in authentication in the digital environment (biometrics as a differential).
_Product management experience, including translating strategies into execution and successfully getting things done.
_Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
_Comfortable leveraging data to monitor performance and identify opportunities, create plans to drive usage and revenues, and prioritize resources to deliver against the plan.
_Successful track record engaging at senior levels in the organization and with partners.
_Ability to work on a team or independently and to influence and build consensus.
_Ability to work effectively under pressure and aggressive corporate targets.
_Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
_Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, commitment to continuous learning, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset.
_Domestic and International travel up to 25%.
_English and Spanish proficiency required (Portuguese as differential)
