We are actively looking for an accomplished and client-centric Solutions and Product Analyst to enhance our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, the ideal candidate will lead the charge in addressing multifaceted challenges related to scope creep, requirement gathering, business logic, and overall project management within the framework of our Agile Service Management Agreement (SMA).

Accepted Locations:

  • USA: 1099 on call
  • Mexico: Contractor by hour (contractor on call)
  • LATAM: Contractor by hour on call
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00-17:00 CDT Minneapolis

Preferred Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in design and development of enterprise applications.
  • 3+ years of experience working in the Retail domain, leading enterprise initiatives, and supporting e-commerce or Personalization Digital initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with business teams on Digital initiatives, roadmap planning, scope, and development/release planning.
  • Strong product management skills with a deep understanding of the product vision and overall product lifecycle.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Mandatory Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent eCommerce/ web Development Experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, or Business Analyst in an agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban, and other agile development frameworks.
  • Proven experience managing design and delivery of low-to-medium complexity products.
  • Knowledge and experience with microservices & Service-Oriented Architecture Methods and implementation technologies.
  • English; Advance professional to Native skills.

Responsibilities:

E-commerce Solutions:

  • Engage directly with clients for Magento, Big Commerce, and other e-commerce platforms to gather requirements and understand their business needs.
  • Provide non-coding solutions, such as data imports, tax configuration in Magento Big Commerce, and other non-technical methods.
  • Advise various business stakeholders on e-commerce-related matters.

Product Management:

  • Own the development and delivery of e-commerce software products in line with business needs.
  • Drive key business relationships for e-commerce product initiatives.
  • Research and analyze industry trends and benchmarking information related to e-commerce products.

Agile Project Management:

  • Work within the Agile Service Management Agreement (SMA) framework.
  • Own and maintain an executable backlog of product requirements.
  • Define and communicate prioritization of product requirements considering business value and tradeoffs.
  • Assist with distillation of product backlog requirements into user stories.

Collaboration and Training:

  • Collaborate with project Analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Educate clients on their chosen e-commerce platform, ensuring understanding of functionalities and features.
  • Provide training sessions to enhance client proficiency in managing their online store.

Preventing Scope Creep:

  • Proactively identify and address potential scope creep issues during the requirement-gathering phase.
  • Work closely with the team to define clear project scopes and deliverables.
  • Proven ability to recognize value and manage investments to maximize value delivered.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Client Engagement:

  • Conduct initial client meetings to understand their business needs and specific challenges.
  • Gather requirements for e-commerce platforms like Magento, BigCommerce, and others.
  • Provide ongoing consultation and support to clients on e-commerce platform functionalities and best practices.

Solutions Development:

  • Design and implement non-coding solutions like data imports, tax configuration, and other customizations within platform capabilities.
  • Partner with developers to identify and implement technical solutions for complex client needs.
  • Evaluate third-party extensions and integrations to recommend suitable options for clients.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders including clients, internal teams, and external vendors.
  • Manage expectations and ensure clear understanding of project scope, timelines, and costs.
  • Advocate for the client’s best interests while maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.

Product Management:

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Own the development and delivery of e-commerce software products aligned with business needs and market trends.
  • Participate in product roadmap planning, defining key features and functionalities for future product iterations.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product development decisions.

Business Relationships:

  • Collaborate with Development, PMO Office and Sales teams to ensure product features and messaging are aligned with customer needs and market demands.

Agile Project Management:

  • Create and maintain a prioritized backlog of product requirements and user stories within the Agile Service Management Agreement (SMA) framework.
  • Continuously refine backlog items based on changing needs and priorities.
  • Ensure user stories are clear, concise, and well-defined.

Prioritization and Scope:

  • Define and communicate the prioritization of product requirements considering business value, impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Work closely with the team to manage project scope and deliverables, identifying and mitigating potential scope creep issues.

Collaboration and Delivery:

  • Facilitate effective collaboration between project Analysts, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Track project progress and address any roadblocks or challenges that arise.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce products and initiatives.

  • Provide training sessions to clients on their chosen e-commerce platform, ensuring understanding of functionalities and features.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for client reference.
  • Proactively address client questions and concerns related to their e-commerce platform and solutions.

  • Stay up to date with the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Time to Resolve Critical Issues Tracks the speed and effectiveness in addressing critical project issues. Measured as the average time taken to resolve issues that impact project delivery.

Additional Responsibilities Client Training Completion Rate Indicates the success of client training programs in equipping them with platform knowledge. Tracked as the percentage of clients who complete training programs and achieve certification.

Number of Knowledge Base Articles Created/Updated Measures your contribution to internal knowledge sharing and documentation. Counted as the total number of articles created or updated on e-commerce platforms and solutions.

Professional Development Hours Completed Demonstrates your commitment to continuous learning and skill enhancement. Tracked as the total number of hours spent on training, conferences, or other professional development activities.
