We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Mexico, Ciudad de México (MX-CMX), Mexico (MX).
Position overview
The Quality Engineer will need to understand business, customer and application requirements and project documents to provide inputs to test plan, design and review test scenarios/ test cases that validate the applications. The candidate will need to meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements using all quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools.
Position's General Duties and Tasks:
- Understand business / customer / application requirements and project documents to provide inputs to test plan, design and review test scenarios/ test cases that validate the applications.
- Experience in Core Banking Mainframe applications.
- Experience in automated execution using Automation tools.
- Progress reporting and risk assessments
- Proficient in different phases of testing like Functional, E2E, Regression and Integration Testing
- Identify code optimization area to make execution faster.
- Automation feasibility analysis / Automation test plan
- Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
Qualifications
Must have Skills:
- Strong Automation testing knowledge and skills (Selenium, Java, Maven, Cucumber, Git, and Jenkins)
- Strong experience on Mobile web app experience, NodeJS, Typescript, WebDriver IO
- Good knowledge on Test Metrics, Test planning and Quality maturity · Good knowledge in SQL and UNIX commands
- Exposure to TDD & Behavior Driven Development and experience in programming and testing.
- Knowledge of programming languages and process management methodology
- Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools
Nice to have:
- Knowledge about Linux environment
- Experience in any DB
- Certification (Good to have)
- Selenium WebDriver, Core Java
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent required.
